War Report - Day 113

November 4th, 2007 · 3 Comments

My comrades,

It is hard to believe that it has really been so many days since the Feline invasion. As I’m sure you know, the siege continues unabated, as does their relentless psychological warfare. I hope that you and your loved ones remain strong in the face of their cruel tactics, and that you are safe. I want you to know that although our forces have taken heavy casualties, we continue our resistance.

The news was not good from the front this week, I’m afraid, as the Feline horde was able to breach the defensive wall for which we had such high hopes. We had repelled their initial assault and driven them back beyond the barrier, which we were able to repair. However, sometime in the night, their forces broke through again. Rumors quickly spread that Fatsby himself led the incursion, but that cannot be confirmed.

Unfortunately, we had to completely retreat from the wall, and must now consider that strategy a failure. However, we are not giving up. We will continue to fight the hordes, and God willing, we will reclaim this land for our people. Stay strong, my friends.

If you pull out razor wire… I’ll be impressed.

The battle truly is country wide. Our Feline invasion has become a generational battle with both sides not knowing why - just knowing that they must persevere. The tactics are many and sordid - from urinating on the rug, scratching the couch, and regurgitating at random locations at night so on trips to the bathroom … oh it really is too much. I believe the only thing worse could be the canine invasion - where they launch their cuddly young into the babes arms and then chew every piece of footwear in your house … be brave.

What! Don’t tell me that the feline hordes are in league with the canines. We will never survive that.
